In 1978 these Chinese Ponies were brought to the Museum. They have been greeting visitors everyday since then.One night in a senseless act of vandalism one of the ponies was knocked over by four men. Now he lays on his side in the basement with broken legs. His expression seems so sad as if he's feeling useless and unable to do his job of saying "Welcome Everyone". Hopefully he'll get fixed and back up front where he belongs.
